Monkey See. Monkey Do.
My first year of being an RA was a blast! It is the duty of the RA each year to decide the theme of their floor and because I know how 18-year-old college guys act, the theme for this year was monkeys of pop culture and related things. I was responsible for overseeing a floor of about 35 residents, organizing a variety of floor events and programming, and providing support for my residents and fellow RAs. I did pizza night and donut mornings. I also organized a weekly trip to Buffalo Wild Wings every Thursday!
